Soon after reaching 50,000 subscribers, approximately 1 1/2 months after posting her first video she appeared in a game video made produced by PewDiePie. Taylor's Youtube channel had reached 100,000 users within two years. Taylor ceased to produce videos and put them on private. The main reason was technical issues, new equipment issues, and also she was overwhelmed with her fame. After a month long break and a few months of making new videos, she started again, including the very popular ASMR 10 Triggers To Help You Sleep (35 million views as of august 2022). ASMR 10 Triggers To Aid You Sleep was the second video that she uploaded in July 2017, which has been viewed 38 million times by August 2022. In August 2017, Shane Dawson interviewed her and she soon reached one million YouTube users. Wired UK reported that in February of 2019, she was earning 1,000 dollars per day by advertisements on her YouTube channel.

Dennis Helfer along with Elaine Helfer are the parents of Helfer. She is from German as well as English descendance. She attended William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler. Alongside the help of her sisters Trena Tammy Tara and Tammy Tara, she lived in the farm owned by her family. At the age of 17, the agent of her modeling agency spotted her while in line waiting at a theater.
